Yo, so, I started writing this story about a girl named Dalia. She has been turned into a vamp recently... except being a vampire isn't glamorous the way tv sometimes makes it seem???? it's actually a lot like having a chronic illness???? What a rip-off!!!! 

Read my humorous take on chronic illness through the lens of vampire shenanigans. 

Context: I was diagnosed with a chronic illness about 18 months ago. The novelty has started to wear off and the day-to-day pain and suffering have started to settle into my life and this book is my response. Some days really really suck and I don't know what to do. I want to talk about my experience or just rant about my pain, but I don't just want to dump on the people in my life all the time or depress myself by just ranting angrily into my journal. 

This story is a place where I can take the core of my experience and place it into something productive and silly and perhaps reach others who have a similar experience with chronic illness. 

I hope you'll read and share this little story and enjoy it as I get a little bit real and a little bit fake all at the same time.
